I have a lot of messaging apps and that is a pain in the b*.
Since A8C acquired Texts I’ve been using it heavily for months and I have to say, this changed my life the macOS app is amazing, it has a lot of features and some automation, and the stealth mode is a must-have but I was wondering how long I would wait until an iOS app appear to bring this happiness to my phone.
Apparently, I don’t have to wait anymore Automattic acquired Beeper and I had to try it badly since I got the news. I have to say the iOS app is amazing, my first impression could not be better, the app is smooth and the sync works quite well.
I have integrated WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, and Instagram there. I thought it could make the App slow but I haven’t noticed any slowness. I have to say that the desktop app lacks some features that I’m used to with the Texts app but I believe that will change soon with that acquisition.
I believe besides WordPress.com I don’t talk much about the products from A8C (besides Tumblr obviously) but I had to write it up given how excited I am and I wanted to bring this to others.
No regrets so far, lots of platforms are available! (Android, iPhone, macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS). Go ahead and try it!
