3D printed drawer organizing system A.K.A. Gridfinity

;

$content = [

I have my first really useful piece of 3D printed material, a friend told me about this organizing system called Gridfinity which you can define the size and shape of the pieces based on drawers or anything that fits the base squares.

This is my silverware drawer using the system:

It took approximately my whole weekend to get this printed but it can be faster if you get the speed optimizations and bin shapes ready upfront. Also based on the estimates you can have in your Slicer software you can plan whether to print things during the day or night.

Printer: Elegoo Neptune Pro 3
Filament: Black PLA Premium – Voolt3D
3D Models: https://github.com/kennetek/gridfinity-rebuilt-openscad
Softwares: OpenSCAD (customizing the bins and bases) and OrcaSlicer (slicer, finals)
